a bus carrying a junior team, the humboldt broncos was involved in a crash with a truck on their way to a playoff game. really, really horrible
Awful. 15 now dead. One of the kids killed was subscribed to a hockey channel on youtube that I follow as well. He just posted a comment on one of the videos the day before the accident, on how excited he was to see the Jets make the playoffs.
And so you see, I have come to doubt All that I once held as true I stand alone without beliefs The only truth I know is you.
Stoked for the playoffs starting this week. Like the Kings vs. the Knights. One team (Predators) to rule them all, though. (And win me a nice return on my bet)
Interesting that the top two seeds in East have losing records this season against their playoff opponents. I still like Tampa and Boston's chances but it does open the door to think about realistic chances for an upset.
Love the Stanley Cup Playoffs!!! Can't wait till tomorrow, but Thursday is the day I want. Go Leafs Go! Even better part is my brother is a Bruins fan, should be a lot of chatter back and forth. He tells me this morning to that a friend of his will find out tomorrow if he has tickets for game 3 in Toronto and he is taking my bro....lucky bastard

Fuck Vegas. they got a great season. they can wait awhile for a cup
They're a 1st round loss IMO anyway.
Hearing they will be exempt from the next lottery draft pushed me over the edge on them
Why are they exempt from the next lottery draft? Don't get me wrong I'll be rooting for an early exit by Vegas but I will not be able to pull for any other team from the east in the Finals other than my Jackets. Maybe New Jersey but no one else.
Their expansion fee was $500 Million. The expansion rules were created to make it easier for them to start out on the right foot. Them not having to expose players is part of that.
Already punched my ticket to the Vegas bandwagon! Go Knights, go!
would be a nice story.

The GMs were informed that any potential future Seattle expansion draft will be conducted under the same conditions as Vegas, and there’s an interesting caveat: The Golden Knights aren’t likely to be part of the Seattle process at all, according to a source.
There’s no reason to expect them to be put in position to lose a player because they’re not going to be sharing in the $650-million fee the Oak View Group will be asked to pay if/when the NHL accepts its expansion application. That was part of the deal the league struck with Golden Knights owner Bill Foley when he was granted the 31st franchise.

Preds
Jets
Kings
Ducks
I think it is Preds and Ruins in the finals and Preds lift the cup.
But I would also relish seeing the B’s make the finals and lose—as long as it’s not to the Kings.
My tickets for game 4 just got delivered today. Can't fucking wait! Go Jackets!!!!!

Everyone knows Knights bow to Kings. It'll play out that way.

I made text jokes with some Kings fan buddies from SoCal about Blue Man Group silliness....and sure enough, they had the Blue Man Group there.
It did fire the crowd up. For the first ten minutes or so they were bonkers out of control.
