His first goal was soft. I was surprised after how many tough saves he made in the second period. The Rangers never seriously threatened Bishop tonight. That had a lot to do with tremendous defense played by the 'Ning. Blocked shots and no second chances. Danny Boyle was practically the 12th forward tonight. He was deep in all night.
is it really that hard to type or say Lightning? there is no dumber shortening of a team's name than that one being used these days. just awful.
and why do Rangers fans leave early in game 7? saw lots moving out with like 2 minutes left. are they trying to get the 1st spot on the train or something? it's not like they have to leave a crowded parking lot. sorry but you do not leave a game 7 early...ever no matter the score.
Really dude, it bothers you so much that you feel like you should comment on my calling them the Ning? And so you know, I pay internet by the keystroke.
yes it does - but espn has been saying it too. it's annoying.
Seems strange that an Atlanta Hawks fan would be trolling a hockey page, particularly when it looks like that's a Phillies image on the profile.
i think the "hawks" refer to St. Joe's (philly college) not atlanta.

Lets go Bolts! Love that the Hawks removed the Fucks from the picture and I have huge respect for the Hawks, just dont want them to win again. I can freely admit it -- I am jealous!
Makes me think/reminds me of this guy I went to college with. Didnt really like sports or anything, but one year, Kentucky was really good in basketball, in the Final Four and he was suddenly a huge fan. Would refer to them as 'Tucky... it seemed like he was using a lame pet nickname to cover up for his blatant bandwagonism.

You're a kings fan! You don't have much to be jealous about. But I'd prob be rooting against the Kings if they were there again so I get it. Either way, should be a really fun series.

Yeah I am just jealous because Kings didn't even make the playoffs and have a chance to keep their battle with the Hawks going. It was really strange rooting for them so much this last series. Will kind of feel better to root for Tampa this time. Hawks are fucking money. Kane and Taves (I refuse to spell his name correctly) are lethal, especially on the same line.
Yeah and Kontos scored four goals that game. They played in the Expo center off I-4,m basically next to the jail, total shithole. And it was an 'upgrade' when they moved to the Thunderdome. People in Tampa have referred to them as the 'Ning since the beginning. Bolts has only taken hold over the past several years.

Just for those areas I guess....they can do it if they want it. I went to Devils/Kings wearing my Kings gear and had a ball. Fans were awesome until the OT goal that lost it for them.

Here's the thing... people complain because Chicago fans (or NY, Philly, etc.) come to small market towns like Tampa and drive up all the ticket prices. It puts the aftermarket stuff out of reach for the average/above average fan. I looked at flights and tickets for game 1 and they were all jacked up high. Really high. The cheapest seat I saw in lower was about 850 for game one. Probably 30% more than a ticket would have cost if it was Anaheim who doesn't have a strong fan base.
