Maybe it's to mock Van Halen, because of the title of their 11th (and final?) album.

It's a joke about the dreaded sophomore slump.

Anyone else catch Sammy on That Metal Show? Is he not the coolest dude ever? Like the hard rock version of Jimmy Buffet

    Stoked to hear Chickenfoot 3!

    I love this comparison!

Considering they both have their own alcohol and restaurants, and both sport kind of a beach look. Sammy's being a little more "rocker" and Jimmy's just being... more... "buffett"

Chickenfoot is cool though, I love Satriani's inclusion into it. I love that he's such a technical, virtuoso player but can still integrate himself into rock music like Chickenfoot, which in a sense follows a "template" so to speak.

Speaking of which, I've never tried it, but I hear the Cabo Wabo tequila is terrific. Can you confirm/refute that?

I've never had it. I've heard a couple mixed things about it, but mainly I hear it's pretty good. Not worth the price-tag though is a frequent comment I hear.

My hubby's old boss took us out once and we tried it....I am NOT a fan of tequila but I must say that Cabo Wabo was pretty good! Also, Chevy's has a special margarita that uses the Cabo Wabo, you should check it out. I was bummed to hear that Sammy sold the company.

Is it worth it, considering it's the same price as a bottle of Patron?
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

    As a non-tequila drinker, I wouldn't buy a whole bottle. But a shot? Sure!

He comes across as a brutally honest person....who would imagine him saying on the record that he missed being in Van Halen...his book was interesting too.
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.

i'm not a big tequila drinker. but i like it. its real smooth compared to other tequilas. i actually have a bottle sitting here ready for the right night to open it (or making sure i don't need to do anything the next day).

    anyways about the chickenfoot album....

i'm a huge hagar fan. i love van halen. i actually like sammy VH more then i do DLR. I like a lot of his solo stuff. I got into the chickenfoot album. saw them live which was awesome, i've seen van halen. i've seen sammy solo. plus sammy is just cool as hell. so i'm a fan.

but i listened to some of this new chickenfoot album and i just can't get into it yet. maybe i will down the road. but from what i listened to it just feels cheesy. its kinda the same reason i don't like ac/dc... its just some lame guitar rift in the background with sammy singing over it.

That's what I first thought about this album when I heard the 30 second previews but then when I bought the album and listened to it it's actually really good!
