The solution to the nation's jobs crisis: suspend congressional elections?

That was the proposal put forward by North Carolina's governor, who was trying to make a point at a Rotary Club event that political considerations are hindering efforts in Washington to tackle unemployment and economic stagnation.

    yes man. your gov't is terrible at solving things. get used to it. find other find other ways to solve your problems, voting just perpetuates the negative.

    maybe they will fuck things up but at least they'll be legally able to. What he really means, but obviously would never say, is suspend democracy in the US. Can you imagine the headlines if he actually said it though?
    I don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!
