    Go
    Corduroy
    Save you

    Alive
    All night
    Last exit

I am glad you asked. I just went and dug out a mix cd I made probably around 2003 or 2004, which I titled "Runnin' with the PJ" (a play on Van Halen's "Running with the Devil) :-)

    Anywho, heres the tracklist...
    1.) All Night
    2.) Why Go
    3.) Whipping
    4.) Get Right
    5.) Don't Gimme No Lip
    6.) Ghost
    7.) Alone
    8.) Corduroy
    9.) Brain of J
    10.) Last Exit
    11.) Hitchhiker
    12.) Leatherman
    13.) Breakerfall
    14.) Go
    15.) Do The Evolution
    16.) Leash
    17.) Green Disease
    18.) Spin The Black Circle
    19.) Lukin
    20.) Animal
    21.) Red Mosquito
    22.) Rearviewmirror
    23.) Porch
    24.) U
    25.) Down

I had "I am a patriot" in my ipod right after the election and ran with it a few times and it got me pumped up. Also like to listen to Given to Fly, but its over so fast.
  • That's perfect! Thank you all very much. This is one badass playlist.

  • I agree with the "Given To Fly" call. That's the best in my mind because it's got the kinda easy parts where you can slow up a bit and catch your breath ("he floated backed down 'cause he wanted to share"), which then go into a bit of a transition period (with the guitars) to get you ready to go again, and then into the fast parts for really pickin' up the pace ("and he STILL GIVES HIS LOVE HE JUST GIVES IT AWAY...")

  • I have been training for my first marathon and My favs. are Poor girl from Ed & Supersuckers and U. You gotta hear these when running. It seems stupid but they sound soooo different while running. Love it!!!! Down is a good one too.
And sometimes is seen a strange spot in the sky,a human being that was given 2 fly - Bryan you are loved R.I.P
  • I listen to my ipod on song shuffle when running to get a good mix of harder and softer songs. I find that live versions of hard songs tend to be played a little faster so it's better to run to live version. At mile 24.5 of the marathon I ran two weeks ago I lucked into an awesome three song finisher: Sonic Reducer (from the NYC New Year's show the fan club sent with the last album, I love this version. So full of anger.), Corduroy (from one of the various live shows), into Porch (again, some show on my ipod. At mile 25 I wasn't in the mood to look to see what show.) Anyway, good luck, and keep on running.
