I was listening to ITW in my truck today on my way home and didn't get to finish it. So when I got home, I popped on the vinyl and started it over while I was working in the house and noticed something.... Long Nights and Tuolomne are reversed on the 2 formats. On the CD version, Long Nights follows Rise. On my vinyl version, Tuolomne follows Rise. Funny that with all the times I've listened to these I never noticed it. Is there a reason? And did anyone else figure this out before me?

Maybe it has to do with time on the vinyl..... maybe not. I dunno, but I hadn't noticed it yet.

I'd guess that maybe on the CD they laid out every song in the order Ed wanted, but due to space constrictions on a vinyl they had to swap them around? Just a guess. I don't have my cd nearby, but compare the length of the songs, and that may give you an indication if one is longer than the other.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

I can't speak for the track order on the vinyl version of "Into The Wild," but I do know that the vinyl version features an extended version of "The Wolf."

Oh, I didn't know there's a vinyl of "Into The Wild". That's my favorite PJ/related release in last ten years =) Just watched the movie and it was great.

Is the "Into The Wild" still available somwhere in vinyl format?

  • It' ridiculous it should be re-released, here me Ed another pressing, Ebayers selling it for ridculous amounts is just plain fucking wrong!

I took my eye off the ball for a bit and all of a sudden it's ££££ & $$$$$$.

Yeah I bet some scum bags gone numerous pressing gathering dust somewhere, I don't mean to be harsh but your a cock if you have, vinly is meant for playing not swelling your bank account.

It was hard enough getting Binaural but when I got it I played it and played it, it made me appreciate the album evem more.

I just don't understand these people who have numerous copies shrink wrapped and unplayed when people like me want to play these, I've seen some people putting pictures on here to wind others up, all I'll say is karma gonna get ya!

Vinyl is to be played not stored!

Gotta agree with ya. I play all my vinyl whenever I get the urge. Would you buy as car and never drive it? It's music and it's meant to be enjoyed. Glad that PJ is re-releasing their catalog. Hopefully more people can enjoy the vinyl format.

You can put a sealed Into the wild vinyl on ebay at 0.99 starting price, but it will end up way over $100, because people pay that amount of $$.. I have a sealed ITW, that I will never sell because I'm a collector, but I missed out the Benaroya vinyl when it was available on ten club, so I will have to pay big dollars for it if I want to complete my collection.. That said, you are not forced to buy these records if you don't want to.

I won't buy them because I can't afford them, I have payed near £100 for a Half Speed Master of Pink floyd Wish You Were Here but that was because it's my fav album of all time and it was the best pressing I could get. Floyd won't stretch to the reissue like the wonderful Darkside 180 gram pressing.

I'm not sure I'd tell my wife it was that much though , just thinking how going to break it to her that I'm spending over a £100 on the PJ Ten Deluxe set, might just have to settle for the double vinyl set though, I would love it though.

I just don't have the disposabale income for myrecord collection some seem to have, Life has more pressing thing to consume my wages than music unfortunately I've not been single for over 5 years and I'm not that reckless anymore.

Can I just ask though, is the reissue of the whole catalogue been confirmed because new 180 gram pressings of Vs, Vitalogy, No Code, Yield would be sweet, not because I want more copies because I want better pressings, audiophile pressings, bring it on if so?
