Kate wasted two days at work getting them for us. I was gutted after the first day.

i was working the day of the on-sale. here is a list of my relevant posts that day on tsis, in order. the post times are off, though (gmt i assume).

    Mon May 23, 2011 4:55 pm
it's times like these you learn to live again

    Mon May 23, 2011 5:04 pm
i've been trying to log in for a half hour. next time i'll have to do it at 6am. of course, the site seems to randomly log you out, so who knows if even that would have worked.

    Mon May 23, 2011 5:58 pm
hey team i'm finally logged in! step one complete!

    Mon May 23, 2011 6:32 pm
i'm still plugging away. i've got work i'm doing while trying so i'm not bored.

    Mon May 23, 2011 6:40 pm
    Please select a size
(if i remember right, i got a prompt to select a size despite having nothing in my cart)

    Mon May 23, 2011 7:18 pm
you think the band ever hears about this shit?

    Mon May 23, 2011 7:38 pm
    but i'm analog!

    Mon May 23, 2011 7:49 pm
is the one guy who was wondering if he got fired yet for being out to lunch for 2+ hours still here?

    Mon May 23, 2011 7:58 pm
when the site got fast for a sec there i made it through all steps and clicked submit, where it stalled. then it went back to the address entry screen (step 1 of purchasing). doesn't look like the order went through.
(the order did not go through, but the tix were in my cart at this point)

    Mon May 23, 2011 8:21 pm
at least they seem to be staying in the cart, for now.

around this time pj.com was shut down by 10c to try and fix the problem and the site was to be back up in "the next couple of hours". despite being "offline" we could still refresh.

    Mon May 23, 2011 9:18 pm
just had the address page pop up, submitted, got the review page, and then went back to the address page. at least the tix still seem to be in my cart.

    Mon May 23, 2011 11:14 pm
well, i'm still getting periodic address pages, meaning they're still in my cart. can't get past that page though.

    Mon May 23, 2011 11:18 pm
you must be lucky. while it's NEVER been like this before (probably the vic show comes closest), there have always been these issues. same type of shit, too. they've had 6+ years to perfect this, and here we fans are in 2011 sitting around our computers hoping for the best. six hours later and i'm making posts about being moderately pleased that tickets are somehow still in my cart.

    Mon May 23, 2011 11:29 pm
i've been refreshing the same pages for hours.

    Mon May 23, 2011 11:36 pm
i just got to a step 2 page for the first time in a couple hours. progress! but then right back to the step 1 address page. defeat!

after this post i left work and went home and had to log back on. those site links that were being passed around helped at this point.

    Tue May 24, 2011 1:17 am
holy shit guys i got a card authorization! eight hours and fifteen minutes after starting this process! now i get to wait for the order page to load to see if they show up in my history!

less than five minutes later 10c announced the sale had been postponed and for people to stop trying.

    Tue May 24, 2011 4:35 am
hey, this newfound accessibility allowed me to see my order history, three hours after i placed it! ha! ha! i have tickets to see pearl jam!!!

and that my friends was my pj20 ticket purchasing experience. pjf5 foreva!

That day was a freakin disaster. I burned two of my sick days trying to get tickets. I still have no idea how I scored them.

    Yikes! :wtf: That sounds terrible!

I had actually had let my membership lapse (I know, I know!), so just went to the public sale. No issues. A friend that was still a 10C member gave up and just waited for the public sale as well. We all got GA seats, of course, but the second night went to the box office when we arrived and ended up scoring 8th row! Off on the side, but everyone kind of squished in anyways so it was still a pretty good view! It was just awesome to be be around a crowd that was super into what was going on - it's always a bit of a mix on the lawn- so it was well worth it!

I definitely think they will announce the tour in the next week...right....

i was gutted as well! It was the most frustrating experience. On the second day, when it finally went through, it looked as if they were in my cart the whole time and I just needed to get through the purchase point. i was furious! But SOOOOO relieve when i finally had the proof of purchase in the merch history. I hope PJ never lets that happen again :nono:

If anyone hasn't heard the version of Alive from the Xcel Energy Center on the 6/27/06 show, you should check it out.

Does anyone remember Mike playing the solo behind his back and throwing his guitar up in the air?

finalized my (brief) travel plans to chicago for the wrigley show. wanted to do something different this time while keeping cost minimal, so the lady and i are taking the bus! $76.50 total for the both of us round trip. arriving on friday around 3, staying at the congress friday night (not the best place, but it was $150 after taxes/fees thru expedia) and coming back saturday. glad to not be driving and instead will enjoy the scenery and maybe read some. thought about doing amtrak or the like, but man, trains are just as expensive as planes. seems odd.

    I stink....:)

I liked the name Smelly but it is always taken to I became Smellyman. It is not just a trilogy, I am part of the "man" trilogy which is actually a tetralogy. It should be on the next album

    there is no story...
