Even better is that you can order it, and not stand in line.

Are any of you guys going to the Cubs vs Twins games June 19-21? I'm heading up there for all 3 games.

I had originally planned on it, but I'm going up in Feb for the Wild/Hawks Stadium Series game instead. Minnesota in winter. I must be a damn lunatic.

Yeah I like hockey but not nearly enough to sit outside in Minnesota and watch it!

Dress warmer than you think. I've done two outdoor games in my time. I think I'm still cold.

Great show. Nice set with a few surprises and some "secondary" hits that I didn't expect. The boys were a little rusty to start, and the TCF sound was a little muddy too (I thought), but by mid set, it was great. Glad the rain held out.

The lowlight of the evening came when we got back to our car at our perfect parking location, beating the masses, only to realize that I had left my rain coat in the stadium at our seats. I would have left it, had my keys not been in it. Ugh. Two hours later, we were home.

But ultimately, things turned out fine. The show was great. I think the strib review is pretty accurate. I had dozens of different friends attend and almost invariably, most agreed it was a good or great show, and that they had a good or great time.

As I've said in reference to PJ set list snobs in the past, if you thought the show sucked because they didn't this or that certain song, you're right. If you thought the show sucked because they're a group of guys in their 70s who have slowed down, depend on their backing band, and haven't released a new album in ten years, you're right. In other words, attitude is everything.

Live music is about perspective. Go in to a show with appropriate expectations and - most importantly - friends and loved ones, and you'll never be disappointed. Call it merchandising nostalgia, or call it rock history. The Rolling Stones are the greatest rock band ever and may end up with that title, as rock, as it was known for 40 years, dies. They've written some of the most iconic rock songs in history, and in doing so, rewrote that history. If you were lucky enough to be there last night, you caught some of that.

Hope everyone got home safe and had a good time.

    Cheers.

Had a great time and I thought they put on a decent show.
I will admit, I don't own any of their albums, know their music from what I've heard on radio, and probably recognized the first 4 songs, the last 5-6 songs and MAYBE 1 or 2 in between....but it didn't matter. I was out of the house for the night with my wife, seeing an iconic band for probably the only time in my life, and I did not leave disappointed. Sure, I wanted to hear Paint it Black or Beast of Burden, but I'm not pissed because I didn't. The one thing that was a downer for me was that Grace Potter was only given about 25-30 minutes and 5/6 songs....why even bother adding her to the bill (Although she did come out and KILL Gimme Shelter while nearly coming out of her dress/nightgown)?
I also found it funny that I understood Keith Richards better when he was actually singing than when he tried to talk

yeah, real enjoyable show last night, and especially that the weather held out and made it a nice evening to enjoy a show. like vant said, a little stutter at the beginning but once they were on they were in the groove the rest of the night. 'out of control' was a personal favorite highlight, as was gimme shelter. the 'jam' on 'midnight rambler' was another.

good to see jeremy and his now-wife. hope everyone else had as much fun as i did.

I have agree with everyone else; it was a great time last night. It was my 5th stones show. The wife thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought the sound in the venue was a little rough from time to time, but whatever. I just hope I still have that level of energy when I hit my 70s.

Good to see you Ryan. Hit me up whenever you spot the next hot PJ related vinyl in a store. Got keep that stuff out of Vant's hands.

Glad people enjoyed the stones show. Nothing will ever top the Mick Taylor years. Man, they were fantastic in their prime.

My review seems similar to everyone else's on the Stones show - we had a blast, sound was questionable/muddy/echo-ey at first due to the big place, but things smoothed out as the night went on. Show went by in a flash for me, but was quite memorable and super pumpy. A bit surreal to see living legends up there doing their thing. The Stones are unquestionably the greatest Rock and Roll band, and I was happy to be there to witness it!

Highlights for me were 'Moonlight Mile', the fan requested/voted 'Bitch', and Jagger's shout outs to Minnesota, though I could hardly decipher what he was saying..."Yabber yee diddly dop bunga kee MINNEHAHA FALLS!!" (Crowd roars)

and that was STILL more intelligible than anything keith said.

Ha! Yep. Maybe their bubble will burst, but it's good for the kids to learn how to win, at least for a little while. If the impending youth movement is for real, competitive baseball now will only pay dividends later.
