Anyone think PJ can continue the 35 (give or take) songs per show for the fall concerts?

Why not? And what's the big deal if they play 35 or 29? As long as the show kicks ass and they know how to put together a show. They know how to rise and fall and keep the energy throughout the whole show.

Well, I guess I'd rather hear more songs if it meant a longer show. What's wrong with more music at a PJ show?

Nothing. But the perception I'm getting on the boards is anything under 33-35 songs is getting hosed.

Maybe my outlook is different from EVERYONE else but I'll take whatever Pearl Jam plays. No matter what. They are my favorite band. I'll take any set. Any time.

    Now your talking.

PJ is a right to be heard.

Speaking of which... Regina would be a great outlet for them to play.

I'll be happy with whatever as long as alive is played. :-) just saying more pj is better, but of course thankful for what is played.

I'm cool with less songs, as long as there is a 15 minute version of Porch or I've Got a Feeling!

I'm cool with more songs as long as it doesn't get too sloppy. Listening to the Seattle 2013 EV was oiled up pretty well by the end. :-/

I'm not sure alcohol always makes EV sloppier.

I don't know if I really know what you are talking about. I mean, I've seen Eddie get loose but not sloppy.

And I've listened to Seattle 013. Might have to give it another listen

I guess my point is I've seen him flub lyrics near the start of shows, in the middle of shows and near the end of shows. I've seen him when he appears sober and when he doesn't. I'm not sure you can conclude one way or another that he gets "sloppy" because he's drunk. Maybe it's trying to remember the lyrics to so many songs, some of which they don't play all that often?

I guess to make the leap that alcohol makes him sloppy, you'd have to know a lot more about him (confirm that he's drinking, how much alcohol can he handle, etc.). I'm not sure any of us are privy to that info.

But again, how many times are you standing at a live PJ show and cringing because of how "sloppy" they are? If you have the presence of mind at a PJ show to be worried about a fucked up lyric or the band getting off beat, I submit that you're doing it wrong. :)>-
