I thought it'd be hard-pressed to top Moline or Milwaukee as my favorite show, but night 2 did for me. Night 1 was no slouch, and included Inside Job and Gleason...but man, night 2....first time with Oceans for me, then it just steamrolled from there and to even get I've Got a Feeling after YL to close....3 hours of magic. Loved him stopping Lukin to boot someone out of GA, then roll into MYM...classic

Good to see Vant, Z, and KDiddy on Monday too!

What a weekend. It was a flash. Can't wait for these boots. The band sounded pretty good to me down the in GA pit. The crowd didn't drown them out. So many firsts too. Spectacular. Both nights are probably in my top 3. I think Boom's Crazy Mary solo is still ringing in Chicago.

Heard rumors of 2017 show at Target Field. Any thoughts or anyone hear anything as well?

Haven't heard any rumors.

Thoughts: I hope they are done with the baseball stadium shows. Wrigley and Fenway are 2 iconic ballparks. Once they start playing places like Target Field, every city with a baseball team is going to want a show in their stadium. If they're going to go down that route, they should play a tour of minor league ballparks like Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson did a while back. However, I suspect these types of shows come with a whole host of logistical issues that have already been ironed out in places that are actually designed to host concerts.

However, I would not be opposed to a return to Soldier Field. Still kicking myself for missing that first time around.

Something caught- fan was at twins game with pj shirt on. Bunch of suits in front of head office said - "like your shirt. Keep next AUG open as we are working hard to have them play here. And EV is a huge Twins fan (fav AL team) but not more than Cubs"

Again. All heard through the rumor mill

I think Ed is more of a Ron Coomer fan than a fan of the Twins, and since he's no longer with the team...

Look I would love to see a Pearl Jam Target Field show, but I'm sure every baseball park in America is probably asking them to play there, too.

I posted my rumors a few months back, but the cliffs notes version is that I have a connection with the Twins who has been pretty accurate with his info on other local shows, and he told me that the Twins and PJ have been trying to arrange a show date at Target Field for several years.

Take it or leave it.

Not that it really matters, but google "Eddie Vedder Minnesota Twins." Who knows why but he would come and hang out in the Twins lockerroom, wears Twins hats at games in Seattle, etc. Even NESN picked up the stories.

Well, this all started with Ron Coomer being involved with the broadcasts. We've all seen the links/articles with Ed in years past showing up at the clubhouse, like you said, not that it matters, but with the roster turnover and Coomer not with the team...that was my point. It wasn't a shot at you.

I didnt take it that way. Just thought it was worth pointing out that given whats out there, it's not unreasonable to conclude that hes a Twins "fan," especially because at least locally and among people who might know, rumors about PJ at Target Field persist.
