    Prayers for sure. What a tragic event.

    Z and I just saw EODM back in October. They're such a fun and loose rock band, totally committed to entertaining their fans. They lost their merch guy on top of witnessing a horrifying thing. I don't know how they're going to move forward from this. They're not introspective like PJ and other bands who would naturally heal through their music. This band just wants to have a good time. I can't image what they'll do next.

    didn't see you there, but it was a good, not great, show i thought. after seeing him at first ave a couple years back i think the seated theater setting is not an ideal place for a hansard show- defintely lost some of the intimacy and energy that was so prevalent at the previous shows. even glen had to chide the crowd a little bit. the band sounded really good, though. i like the new album quite a bit.

    Listening to the 2006 tour mix. There are some awesome and unique versions of songs.

    The version of rockin in the free world from Leeds (8/25/06) is absolutely ridiculous. Go to pearljamlive.com and listen to it. Whatever got into the guys for that performance, I want some. Whew!

    Anyone getting Springsteen tickets on Friday?? I HIGHLY SUGGEST IT! Usually tickets are $100 all around but it appears that is different this time and the range is 50-$175. Z and I will try for club tickets again if they aren't the most expensive.. but we'll see. Dang Christmas budget will make it tough, but i know once Feb 29th comes, I'll want to be in the Xcel.

    Definitely gonna try and score Boss tix. Never have seen him and now they're doing The River! Probably gonna have to roll solo deep since budget is tight these days

    Couldn't score any GA or front lower level. Maybe more will pop up. All I need is one if anyone ends up with one to spare

    Tried to get tix... would be 6th time seeing the Boss. bummer about this time around is the tickets are different prices. the 4 time i've seen him at the X, ALL tickets were $100, so i've seen him three times on the floor and then once in club. So, this time around, i tried for $105 tickets and best available was upper level back corner. ugg.. I passed. Bad timing with christmas and baby coming. PLUS, if PJ really does have a spring tour, then I'd want to have a shot at affording that. Also.. i read a RS article with Bruce and he said this was a last minute tour that he thought would be fun.. and it absolutely should be, but he also said that they're working on a new album with tour to follow, so i'll happily wait for that even though it's been three eyars since i've seen him.
    The new Rive box set will be super cool. the show will be fun no matter what... so i'm sure i'll kick myself for not putting tickets on the credit card. hehe.

    Struck out.. I did manage to pull a pair of tickets. 2nd to last row of upper deck behind the stage. $150.00 a piece. Sorry, but no thanks. Bought Cloud Cult tickets instead.

    Don't know what GA8 means but I hope it's not all sectioned off. Either way I'm in the building. First and probably last Boss show. Too expensive. I'm excited to see/hear The River though
