    While I agree (03 was the last time they did a headlining show here), the 06 Petty shows were great. I listen to those bootlegs all the time. The sonic quality of the shows were great and PJ did a great job of avoiding a "hits" setlist, despite only playing about 17 songs a night.

    Timberwolves are watchable again....bump. They aren't just another TV show to skip over when channel surfting. They are finally something again. I'm not sure what yet, but they are fun to watch.

    Whenever I've heard David Kahn talk, I can't tell if he's Matt Millen crazy, or if crazy but with a plan in place. Either way, he's crazy as shit. But so far, it looks like he's got a good plan in place. He's got some pieces in place to build around, and that's something we've haven't had for a while. Now if we could just get a shooting guard to light up Target Center...

    Well that's the thought! Jazz Fest is still a possibility though, as I have some friends that are interested in going.

    But it would be awesome if PEAL JAM PLAYED MINNESOTA either way :D

    Jazz Fest is absolutely worth going to. Book sooner than later though; hotels are a nightmare during Jazz Fest. That town rules though. So much fun. The festival, the people, the food, the drinks, the humidity (yes, even that added to the allure of being in the deep south/Big Easy). It is worth going to if you can swing it. My wife would love to go back, and while I love EV too, I would rather save money for a full band tour. Let us know on this thread if you do go, because I can give you some recommendations for food/drink/sightseeing stuff.

    I am just going to throw this out there.....PJ give Bob Pollard a call and see if GBV would tour with you this fall. I'd love to see PJ and GBV jam out to Rockin' in the Free World. I'm still pissed I missed the tour with Bob a few years ago. Please make this happen.

    Minnesota by itself is pretty good, but when you combine it with Pearl Jam it's great! 2012 would be a great time to the the greatest band in MN!
