mohawk?

I was listening to Riot Act on vinyl this afternoon. I noticed that there are 2-3 pics of Ed in there with a mohawk. I also saw him on the inside cover to Lost Dogs with the same hawk. Does he do this when he goes into the studio to record an album or was it just coincidence?

PS Is it just me, or does the pic of Ed in LD with the hawk look like the actor who played Anakin Skywalker/young storyteller Edward Bloom in Big Fish (Ewan McGreggor).

    He had a mohawk in the first half of 2002. This was during the recording of Riot Act and also when he inducted the Ramones into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I believe this was the only time he ever did this.

    i guess he did look a little like ewan mcgreggor (who played obi wan, not anakin ;))

    I was just going to say this was when he inducted the Ramones into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I think he should rock the mohawk more often.

    NOOOO!!! never again! his hair is too gorgeous to cut anymore! the 91 long hair look was so hot he should stick to that! that or the 98 yield look, though i'm not too sure he can pull that off anymore

    Sorry but I don't look at ed's hair being gorgeous. I look at it as bada$$. And the mohawk is bada$$.

    Agreed! I love the mohawk...also, I may be imagining things, but at the time, didn't he say something about keeping the mohawk until the was was over? I don't know why, but I seem to remember that being the case.

    apologies. I lost interest in star wars after Jedi, never saw the new episodes. But I gotta say the mohawk is rockin.

    I agree, love the long hair. He's too old for a mohawk. I don't think he looks bada$$ at all.
