I was in the supermarket today and saw this...
Rolling Stone Magazine Special Edition: The Beatles - The Ultimate Album-by-Album Guide
I got it, it was $9.99 and available until November.
I haven't read all the way though, thumbing through it looks pretty cool but having read several books (Anthology, Ultimate Recording Guide, etc) about The Beatles I doubt there will be much I haven't seen. There are a few photos I'm not familiar with, but I may have seen them before.
It's kind of nice though, 122 pages, and not really like a magazine, it's more rigid, sort of like a song book.
Here's the description:
"From Please Please Me to Let It Be: The Ultimate Album-by-Album Guide takes you deep into every Beatles disc. Including 57 pages of gorgeous photos, and track-by-track breakdowns of every LP. Plus: appreciations by James Taylor, Bob Weir, Stevie Nicks and more"
Even though it just says LP's, it does have a breakdown of the singles and non-album tracks in the back.
