supper or dinner? dinner or lunch?

im both these days i guess, which i have grown to hate myself for.

breakfast
dinner
supper

that's how it used to be... strictly even
with no sway for fucking around switchin shit up. then something happened.

breakfast
lunch
dinner

fuck off. i like the old days as the toothless wonder back on the farm in missouri and momma ringing the dinner triangle that hung from the front porch, us kids off in the countryside some place

I got with breakfast/lunch/supper. If there's a family gathering around lunch time it usually gets referred to as dinner, mostly b/c "family dinner" rolls off the tongue easier.

at work, can't check the you tube to comment...but, i can say...

my family is from minnesota. which was breakfast, dinner, supper. a 'lunch' was like a little mid-day snack.

(regional or generation differences, idk.)

growing up in michigan, other than my family, i have always heard breakfast, lunch, dinner.

this makes is a bit confusing when making lunch/dinner/supper plans with my dad sometimes
