What is the best part of autumn to you?

I love the colors as the leaves change, and the art fairs. Crafty Bastards is coming to DC October 1st, and I've been waiting all year for it. I attended for the first time last year, and I was very impressed.

    Autumn my favorite time of year!
    the cool air and smell of chimney smoke
    falling leaves and campfire
    fuzzy slippers, PJ hoodie, red stag, long nights ;)

    It has arrived here! ...
    cinnamon broom smell fills the house and orange flicker candle lights line the mantel
    orange tinkly lights and a big face jack o lantern smile
    light the covered back deck and front porch.... giving an eery nightly glow 8-)

    best part though ...the anticipation of the upcoming holidays

    I do love Autumn....

    my home is decorated for the season with scarecrows, pumpkins, candles etc.... :D

    Ditto! Love, love, love fall. Crisp cool air, breeze, and leaves falling....it's so cleansing and renewing, shedding.. Preparing for winter.. I also love going to any fall craft fairs or festivals. I feel my best in the fall, always. :mrgreen:

    I too love autumn, it is my given name after all! ;)
    I love the changing of the leaves, the cool, crisp nights perfect for camping and hiking with my chocolate lab.
