who's the kid in Washington??

I went to the DC show and some kid came on stage and played "watchtower" I think with the band. Who was he and why did he get that chance? Anyone??

    That was Jake. Ed saw him rocking out up front and started talking with him during the show. He showed him the chords to watchtower and asked him if he could do that and he said yes, so Ed invited him on stage.

    Another completely random, selfless act by Ed.

    I remember that as well. The kid definitely looked like a rocker...he did a good job as I recall..

    That was pretty cool, I was figuring that he knew him or something. Ed is the mann and that show was great. I had great seats and it was free. My bud works for wrnr radio in Annapolis so all it cost me was the $40.00 in gas (wich is more like 15. now). Ed has become such a fanfriendly rocker in his years.
