picked something off the stage and tried to hand it to ed before security grabbed and spun her ass to the ground. what was it?

Ed has a good sense of humor about it...it was during Let me Love Open the Door. he made a funny comment.

she was 2 people over from me the whole night..

her drunk ass boyfriend/husband/male counter part threw her cell phone onto the stage, so that she would go get it.. and she was all wasted beyond belief so he hoisted her up there and she sorta went for it, and then went for Ed with some really drunk crazy look on her face.. security then proceeded to get a little strict in the front row...

they were assholes all night, and they got picked to get bumped up there.. The guy kept trying to give eddie a drink he bought..

I guess Ed could have changed the lyrics in Brain Damage to "the lunatics climb up to get on stage." :p

It's really too bad that there are so many rude, crazy, and drunk people that follow Ed around.

  • For whatever reason, she then got to watch the show from the side of the stage. If I (a guy) pulled what she did, I'd be in the back alley getting plummeled by security. First she somehow gets the seats she gets, then she gets to 'upgrade' herself. So unfair.

  • I'm wouldn' call it a "bumrush", the woman walked over to Eddies side and put her hand on his shoulder as if she was going to hug him or something. She did take a tumble when the security guard grabbed her to pull her off stage, which got a cheer from the crowd. I'm not saying she wasn't an idiot for doing it, but no harm was done and it made for some great banter from Eddie. Ed was in agood mood so I guess he was OK with it.

Yeah, this was pretty crazy. Security seemed kinda slow. Saw her get up on stage, was like, who is that?! Then all of a sudden she stood-up and b-lined it for Ed, think she touched him before security spun her down. It was a nutty evening all around.

I think he encourages it. So many people talk about how cool he is when he's drunk.

I was kinda thinking this too- I've heard the same thing and he just over-all seems happier when he's drunk... anyone else think so? lol

I dont think he needs to encourage those many in the crowd who go just to get drunk and act like idiots.

I do think he encourages the yelling because he acknowledges a few screams here and there, and almost every time you can tell it gets worse in the immediate aftermath. So even at Milwaukee... sometimes he responds to a yell here or there, which only makes the 50% that go to drink and show off for the friends want to yell even more.

she jumped on stage and picked up whatever, then stood there for a second like a deer in the headlights not knowing what to do. then she slowly walked towards eddie. I didn't think she actully made it to him to touch him. either way, looked like she got a nice wedgie.

Touch the stage and you get a huge Wedgie. I'm not talking a lil grip and rip. Your ass will be carried off by your drawers. Too funny...something to note to all you planning to get an "Ed hug" during a show.

It looked harmless. Good to hear that there was some reason behind her strange behavior. Throwing some drunk chick's cell phone onstage and telling her to fetch is fucked up.

    Eddie said that? hahhaha!
(yes that is fucked up - fetch! I dare you! Lame.)

Okay.. that counts me out because I haven't the faintest clue on what i'm doing... so, i can't even pretend.
    ...
Also... people who rush the stage and get thumped by the bouncers... didn't they learn that lesson from Sally Simpson? If not, they really need to listen to 'Tommy', again.

eddie didnt seem mad he was laughing about it. she seemed drunk and she was smiling the stupid jerk security was too rough with her i think i saw it first hand cause i was in front row. ed laughed it off. if i was her she should of done it after the last song was over. ed brings fans up on stage alot. i would of started dancing to him singing on stage.
