just bought the vinyl.
worth checking out, great listen.
if you are implying me, I don't, but thanks for the productive response.
I don't listen to radio, have been cableless for 6 years, don't read magazines. I subscribe to record store news letters in and around my area, go to lots of live shows and listen to friends, and even use this forum to discover new music. i don't have anything telling me what is the next best thing or what is hot right now. I use my personal filter and I like what I like. that could be kreayshawn, to Yuck, to the new wu-tang to The War on Drugs to the Field, etc, etc.
This band is something I like. A lot. Sorry if it was in a hipster blog you came across, but really who cares.

KICK ASS!
Think they played nearly all of both albums, with a couple from the EP thrown in too, too busy enjoying it to take notes, though took a few pics which I'll sort and link in. Highlights for me were Best Night, a stunning cover of A Pagan Place by The Waterboys (here's the same but from the Electric Ballroom 2 nights previous - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aBmsmgK ... re=related), Black Water Falls, Buenos Aires Beach and closer A Needle In Your Eye #16.
They're on tour through the US from the middle of this month. Go see 'em. It'll be cheap, and they put on a damn good show.
