This was the first new album that the band put out since I became a fan of them. I can still remember how much I was looking forward to it being released. It did NOT disappoint. I know a lot of folks rail on it, but it is just a great albeit very quick album.

Gotta listen to that one at least once today!

Remember the running around from Target to Target looking for the "limited edition" T shirt?

Still love it too! Sounds as fresh and positive and energetic as the first time I listened to it. Until "The End" that is, which is one of the saddest songs ever written. Cool ending to a really, really great album. Now if they'd just play "Gonna See My Friend" live a little more...

Haha yeah, I even went to another store to pick up the Vinyl. Glad I grabbed an extra tee as I ended up trading it for the Rangers MSG tee.

Still love this album. A genuine classic. I remember not being crazy about it at first (although Got Some fried my brain instantly), and then having it grow on me in a huge way. Seeing them play "Amongst the Waves" in Columbus completely turned me around on that song. Remains one of my favorites on an album that's not short of killer material.
