Eyes can’t keep the story behind your mind,
once you’ve traveling amongst the waves of insignificance,
you’re alive, and you remember to just breathe
while the future becomes present tense.

And until you come back
were only light years apart
wadding in black oceans
before we are given to fly.

The daughter
once bitten
rolls god’s dice in a fight for immortality
between Satan’s bed and a red mosquito.

With the arc half-full
she rests in a crown of thorns,
not gone, not sad,
no indifference will break her fall
as she’s off around the bend.

Her wishlist becomes undone and in the end we’ll say it’s ok, it’s ok.
