I bought it 2 years ago for $510. Held it for 10 months and re-sold it for $630. Regretted ever since so I've saved and planned for a long time to get it again. This time it's staying with me and might even bury it with me! Whew, its a lot of money, but oh well in a few days I'll be holding it again! This time cost me $787! How high will it go! Who knows!

Funny story. Hope you're happy. I'm guessing you're not spinning it, but you should. :)

I have a bunch of records I do play quite often. My favorite record to play is Above by Mad Season. U2's Joshua Tree is another. Vs. on vinyl is great. I know spinning it would be a great experience, I just cant. Crazy Mary is my favorite on Benaroya Hall.

Yes, thats the one! Crazy price, but at least I'm not picky about not being numbered. I just need it back to hold again!

Spin that vinyl, that's what it was made for.

    I play mine occasionally.

you know, I've had my benny vinyl since day 1, but 800 big boys almost makes me tempted to part with it. Almost. :)

IIRC, there were a few un-numbered leftovers after the initial sale. I think most of those originally went to charity auctions.

  • Seeing this thread just reminded me that my copy has been out on loan for some time now. The guy who owned the full-service gas station I go to always asked me every time I went in what I was listening to that day and of course it was often PJ, so I had this on one day and told him to take and listen that he would certainly like it. Well, then he sold the station and I've run into him a couple of times since then and he brought it up that he still had it and would bring it to my work, but two months later still no Benaroya!

    HOLY SHIT!!!

It's an open bar (included in the per person price) - but $600 could definitely cover 4+ people.
