A friend of mine swears that the vinyl version of his Vs. album is different than the one that most people own, he just can't remember what lyrics might be different. Is there any one who knows whether that's possible or not, or how to tell by packaging or product code, etc?

I have heard the same thing. I know there are different cover art, but a long time ago I was aware of an extra song on the vinyl... may have been Hard to Imagine, but I can't be sure now.

I have asked here before to see if/what anyone knows, but got similar responses to what you have here...

Maybe you could check with your friend what the tracklisting on his is?!

I'd be very interested to know about this.

I do recall that also... My sister worked at Sony during 92-94 and she brought me home my copy of VS. She did tell me that there was another one out there but she couldn't get her hands on it. Now, don't take this as 100% accurate we are going back some years and quite alot of drugs an booze in the middle.
Thats a lovely accent you have. New Jersey?
