on the eve of the 10th anniversary of 9-11 (US) and just prior to the world premiere of PJ20 - eddie played a few songs for Artists For Peace and Justice in Toronto ... i wanted to post the video because i think it is poignant because of our recent discussions on 9-11 and palestinian statehood ...
this song hits at what is ultimately the truth as to who really suffers in conflict ... innocent people ... people who have no desire to inflict violence on one another ... people who are simply victims of a world that no longer values the meaning of being human ...
many of you know where i stand on most issues ... all i wish to express here is to think not of right or wrong or who's side you are on but of the people ... of the women, children, husbands and families that have utterly been destroyed by conflict and ask yourself how the killing of yet another person will bring us closer to peace?
