Hamilton story

Some good friends of mine are currently on their way back from Canada after getting 10c tickets for both Toronto shows and the Hamilton show. I met them up there for night 1 in Toronto (freakin fantastic!) but then had to head back home for work. He sent me a text 2 days ago commenting how he thinks Toronto has the hottest girls in all of North America. I wasn't there for very long but I can't disagree. After checking out last night's setlist, at about midnight eastern, I sent him a text congratulating him on seeing what looked like an amazing setlist and asked him if the girls in Hamilton are just as hot. It took him awhile to reply because he was getting online to see what I was talking about. It turns out he thought the Hamilton concert was tonight and he and his wife missed the whole show! Needless to say, he is pissed. I don't know if he's ever on the forum but I thought this was too good not to share. I'll never let him live this one down. So if anyone noticed empty 10c seats last night, that could be why. He's seen Pearl Jam about 25 times, so what's one more show?

I've had this happen in nightmares but I could never imagine missing a show. The solid setlist, great performance by the band and excellent crowd only makes things worse. You should buy him a copy of the boot when it's released and rub in the fact he missed out.
Honestly I wouldn't even have the heart to bug him about it. That's nightmare stuff for sure!!
I remember that too! I check and double-check the day/location because I can't think of anything worse, but it's a mistake that can happen to any busy person. At least your friend got to Toronto though.

That could have been him. He had row 15 in Toronto but off to Mike's side. Hopefully he didn't win the lottery.
He just had it in his head from the beginning that the show was friday night. He even had it in his google calendar for friday night.
