What's the best sports bar you've ever been to?

My vote is for Real Sports Bar and Grill in Toronto right across the street from the Air Canada Centre. Pre-gamed there Sunday watching football on their 39-foot HD screen and the food is pretty good too.

I used to really enjoy the ESPNZone in NYC. I actually made it on TV a couple of times in the background eating while they were broadcasting from there.
  • There is a sports bar in Pennsylvania called Arooga's; the place has televisions built into each booth/table.

I can't think of any in our PJ travels but there have been many awesome ones ...
    this I know

    our fave by home ...
    http://www.skyboxxatl.com/

great southern cooking by an extra friendly chef 8-)

but I'm with my boy ... I like to stay home for the serious games
too much distraction and noise in the bars
We like to watch them outside on the back deck,
that's our favorite sports bar with Mama's homemade cooking and free beer flowing :D

Never a fan of the ESPN zones. The Field House here in Philly is a pretty good one.

  • I don’t know the name of it either but it was in Boston, I flew up there for a Bruin’s playoff game and the place was just crazy.

I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that it was across the street from the Garden and the B’s were in the playoffs and there was not one person in there that didn’t have something Bruin’s on and it was in the afternoon and the atmosphere was just PUMPED.

    It was AWESOME. :D

I wish I could remember the name of it, but the hubs and I took a trip up the east coast last fall and happened to be in Cape Cod on a football Sunday. We stopped at this little place off the highway and it's the best place I've ever watched football. They had huge screens in every room with a different game on each and there were fans there of just about every team. They had things behind the bar for different fans - a Steelers helmet, a cheesehat, you get the idea. The owner walked around and handed out player's cards to people, of course I got a bunch of Packer's ones. We meant to only stay for the Pack game, but ended up staying all day, delaying our trip
