I liked shit music before my dad came to the rescue. because of that, he'll never have to pay to see pearl jam again.

haha Now that's fucking cool! How old is your dad?

I'm missing tonight's concert because of a wedding rehearsal. Now...don't get me wrong: I'd miss a concert ten times out of a ten for a best friend's wedding (or, well, wedding rehearsal). But missing "Search and Destroy" rankles.

Tonight's actually the first Pearl Jam Ontario concert I've missed since Barrie 1998. That's a streak of fourteen straight concerts snapped. :(

You're a better human being that me. I wouldn't miss an actual wedding of a best friend, but the rehearsal? I'd sub in my brother, close enough.

Add Undone to that, and you're looking at 3 songs that should be pretty badass bustouts the rest of the tour.

Hamilton 2005 was an absolute barnburner. I hope everyone who's there's having as much fun as I did then; Copps Coliseum's a dive, but it's also a great rock n' roll venue.

But I'm an only child... ;) And plus, it was the rehearsal followed by dinner/drinks with the entire wedding party and significant others. I mean, ultimately I'm seeing Pearl Jam seven times on this tour; I'll just have to bring an extra large "SEARCH AND DESTROY" banner to Alberta next week. :D

Oooo....No wedding rehearsal is worth that! ;) But really....how fucking hard is it? Walk up, stand there, try not to yawn, walk back, drink lots, dance badly and don't make a dick of yourself.

It's the best closer. There's no doubt. I think it's ok to end with it every night unless there's multiple shows in the same city. Mike fucking loves it. Let him close out the show.

I tend to mix it up, so I'm not sure what I'll be wearing--but if you find the best looking motherfucker in the building each night there's about a 99% chance he'll be me. ;):D

How about a mandatory YL every night, and a ban on Mike's solo on E-Fro as the trade off? Not sure when I'd have a piss break, but I'd work around it.

I struggle not to make a dick of myself walking down the street in broad daylight. In front of a wedding in a tuxedo? It's actually a recipe for apocalyptic disaster. ;)

No, it was Anne Hathaway/Katie Holmes/Zeta-Jones....when in reality, I don't look like any of them.
