I heart Pearl Jam

I'm so tired of taking shit for loving this band. I've even gotten my ass-kicked because I love this band. I will and still do defend them, and don't even bother fully explaining why I like them, cuz we all know they wouldn't "get it"
Seriously these people wouldn't know a good thing if it sat down and wiggled.
Anyway,the only person I did justify my adoration was my ex bf and he still dug into me. Until on my birthday he heard, Stone sing Sunburn and decided that Stone was actually "cool"
And then I told him that Stone was president for awhile, and he was all over Stone's dick! I'll tell you...

Thoughts?

    I don't take much shit for loving them, cause many of the people I work with (or who work under me) are much younger and have no fucking clue who PJ is (outside "Even Flow" being on guitar hero) or what good music is, in general. And the people my age or who've been my friends for years...some get it. Then others think they fell off the face of the earth after "Vitalogy."

    I get more "WTFs" from people for loving Soundgarden. Apparently they're not known too well these days

    My friends that arn't into PJ like to pick on me and call PJ Oyster jelly. Clever huh? They think they're funny!

    I don't get people who don't appreciate good music or a good time at a show.

    i dont really get shit for loving them, just the occasional "what? that band's still around?" or "i thought he killed himself?" UGHHHHHHH and of course im sure everyone gets "i liked their first album but they went downhill from there" thats the most annoying. people just dont understand...

    yeah at work when a pj song comes on someone says to me "diamond vegemite is on the radio" and then everyone laughs , jeez they (my work mates) at least should get some new material.
    and love ..... wish the world would go again with love , one cant seem to have enough.........
