not a big James Carville fan but I think it's a pretty good article. hard to argue with any of those ideas. as someone who voted for obama...let's just say we need some changes

no doubt the republicans have shit on him at every turn, but even as someone who voted for him i've been very disappointed in how much he has catered and caved into them. as much as i thought bush and cheney were evil they flat out knew how to get their agenda across. sometimes a good fuck you attitude is needed and we haven't seen that at all from this administration. clinton had some of that attitude as well. obama has been soft and weak in my opinion.
  • Fuck you attitude is necessary. Obama had that with Obamacare which emboldened the Tea Party and now Obama is going to need to start smoking cigs again.

This is why boehner wins. He draws lines in the sand.

What exactly? Poor little Obama is now getting your pity....oh the poor president that had a democratic congress and couldn't get anything done that did any bit of good. Poor Obama. he brought this shit on himself with his class warfare and bs liberal rhetoric when he was suppose to get people working together.

I voted for Obama. I'm now really tired of him and all the whiners blaming everyone else. F obama. I'm tired of him talking about "millionaires and billionaires" paying their fair share and then wanting to raise taxes on families making a combines $250,000, especially since I'm not sure what he does with the $ really is any help. Some of it seems good, but I don't think I can trust him anymore cause he doesn't even know MATH!!!!

He sure talks smart though doesn't he.

most of y'all know where i stand; obama's presidency is at a bottom in the worst ways. btwn the weiner re-election and 1/2 dozen dems undercutting his jobs bill, these are his worst days. the only hope i see is that perry keeps being perry and wins the gop primary. if romney wins over the christian right, fughetaboutit...

tell me i am wrong, i feel like we are about to begin a time warp (non rocky horror) style.

  • there is absolutely no way the republicans win the 2012 election. None. The fact that people are seriously thinking about voting for a Perry/Bachmann/Romney is disconcerting as hell. It's not so much that I disagree with their policies, which I do, but that I think they lack fundamental human qualities needed for someone to sit at my dinner table - let alone run a country; compassion, empathy, critical thinking, respect for the earth, and perspective. If Ayn Rand and Hitler had children, their names would be Perry, Bachmann, Romney and Palin. I'm not being hyperbolic here... these people are so deranged and incompetent they should be medicated and hospitalized, not given access to the nuclear codes.
Everything not forbidden is compulsory and eveything not compulsory is forbidden. You are free... free to do what the government says you can do.

Of course they are in panic mode and they should be. They just lost the 9th dist. In NY. It hasn't been held by a republican since the 1920's( thank you Weiner :D ) and there was another crucial election in Nevada that the Democrats lost.

Tuesday's election results prove that Obama's statist agenda is not working and that the American people are tired of the federal government and don't believe in an all powerful, centralized one. More and more citizens are showing that they aren't going to sit back idly and see our liberty taken away.
