Who You Are has a few really bad lines too I guess.thefixer9 wrote:cutuphalfdead wrote:
Inside Job is listenable somewhat because the music is ok. But those lyrics are so bad. How I choose to feel is how I am? Really?cutz wrote:
I agree with you on The Fixer, but i dig Inside Job.
How is it any different then you are who, who you are?
That's the moss in the aforementioned verse is just plain lazy writing.
(But I really love that song anyway...who says I have to be consistent?)0 -

The Temple of the Dog sets were AMAZING...
But one of the things that made PJ20 so special for me was the collaborations with the other artists at the festival.. Mike playing with Star Anna / Ed with Glen (Falling Slowly), Liam (Habit) & John Doe (Golden State) Some of the BEST performances of PJ20 weren't even on the MAIN STAGE!!! :ugeek:'96: Seattle: Key Arena

It's about 100x more musically interesting too. That 2 minute intro on IJ makes me want to hate Pearl Jam a little bit.No longer overwhelmed it seems so simple now.0 -
I guess Who You Are gets a pass because A, the music is REALLY good, and B, it's only a few bad lines surrounded by otherwise decent lyrics. Inside Job's best parts are mediocre.0

I dig any song that uses "aforementioned".

The encore is a bit of a snoozer so far. Not a fan of Inside Job or Just Breath at live show, especially back to back.0
-
Leash or Comatose would be nice in this encore ... Or the aforementioned Save You.0

Agree 100%.... Not mentioned much0 -
Aforementioned would have made sense in the song if he had MENTIONED the previous verse. He didn't, the verse was there but he didn't mention it.0
