recording style on "acoustic #1" on pj20 soundtrack...

just for one example, but i like this much better than however they've been recording lately. it's sounds so much better(especially vocally), kinda live, with some reverb, and not as produced. wish they'd go back to this style or technique. what do you guys think?

    I only heard Acoustic #1 one time so far, so I'll have to listen again... but as far as reverb I agree with you. Most songs, Ed's vocals are so cut & dry, "live" sounding... but one of the best examples of EV + Reverb on the vox is the Poor Girl song with the Supersuckers... I think the vocals sound fucking AMAZING on that tune!!
