Ship Song and the Sydney Opera House

I spent the day at Sydney Opera House for uni today and it was majestic... After 25 years of living in Sydney, this was the first time I have been there.. and if you get the opportunity to go... do it... On a day where the sky was bright blue and the sun was nice and warm 24 degrees, a perfect Sydney day...



I saw this sign 'Ship Song Project' everywhere.. and of course the Nick Cave song and one that EV covers... I had it in my head all day so I youtubed this and it is a compilation of famous people (including Neil Finn, Daniel Johns from Silverchair) singing this song in their own unique way.

    To top the day off... some homeless man with birds on his head and some rude homeless lady who I wouldn't say was begging, rather demanding had a dog in pram... hehe.. I didn't give her any... but I gave some Aboriginal people who were playing some funky tunes some... and bought some stuff off them too...

    Wow :shock: that was really beautiful. Thank you for sharing it. I'm not familiar with many of those artists; could you name them for me in order please? The overhead and long-shots at the end were absolutely spectacular as well.

    i've only watched half the Vid but i don't think that is the right order, cause i saw martha wainwright but i didnt see angus and julia stone so i assume they come later after martha.

    but like i said, i only watched half the vid. and i skipped some bits. so don't even listen to me.
