Anyone planning on heading up to the Bay Area for the Bridge School Benefit? Anyone been and have opinions as to if it's worth it or not??

    I can't afford to go back this year. It's a great time and a great vibe. One day I will make the trip from wi again.

    It's a great show. Went to the 06 benefit and it was amazing. I'm going from Los Angeles. Hopefully I'll find someone to go with me to help with gas. Great lineup this year

    I'm going this year and I'm SO excited! It's my first Bridge so I can't comment on whether or not it's worth it, but I have friends who have been and totally say it's worth it.

    One guy I work with goes with his whole family (kids and all) every 5 years. He says it's worth the experience no matter who' on the lineup - he's the HUGEST Neil fan I've ever known though so he's at least always getting a Neil show, no matter what, thus making him a wee bit bias.

    Apparently they serve garlic fries there that are "to die for" so even if everyone sucks, there's always that! Haha. :)

    Definitely worth it. Have gone twice. I am 99% sure I will be going this year just have to figure out if I want lawn seats vs. regular seats. I am going with friends that will all be in the lawn but i might want good seats one night im thinking. Try to make it happen it you can, you won't regret it, there is an incredible line up this year!

    Thinking about heading up from L.A. Still debating if it's in the budget or not.

    No plans this year...however travelled to the bridge in 2006 and 2010. I would recommend everyone should go at least once in your life whether or not PJ is in the line-up.

    As it looks now, I think it's about a 99% chance that I will head up from LA to see it:)

    Is the best thing to do is to try and get regular seats for one night and lawn for the other? I know tix go on sale Friday morning, so I'm trying to be prepared :D

    Tix for both days go on sale at the same time - ugh! How does anybody else work it so that you can purchase tix to both days - good tix? Which day is more likely to sell out faster?

    I've been a number of times, dating all the way back to the mid-90s. Always incredible. The acoustic element enhances certain acts, and there's usually a hootenanny at the end with everyone on stage. I will never, ever forget seeing the incredible re-arranged versions of Corduroy and Porch there in 1996 (listen to the boot!!!).

    My girlfriend is a huge Florence fan, and with my PJ, NY, SG and Band of Horses love, how could we possibly miss this one? We're going to do a 4-pack of lawn tickets for $99, assuming we can snag one.
