I haven't read the whole thread, but I'd like to mention that this song, to me, is a metaphor for a troubled relationship. The "tremor christ" is the cause and solution to all of the narrator's problems. The narrator is weighing the decision to leave or stick with the tremor christ, and eventually decides to put his/her faith and love in tremor christ.
