  • I know what you mean. I've seen the band 7 times now and have never been very close. I'm tired of getting Ten Club tickets and just HOPING that I'll get lucky and get good seats. I guess I'm just going to have to cough up the money for some good seats next time.

I've been a 10c member since last century (ha) and I always get good seats, but never awesome seats. I joined before I even had a bank account or a car, not sure how much sooner I could have signed up.

If the 10c quit selling tickets, the first few tours would be huge money for the front sections, but after everyone got their fill, prices would come down... and you could buy tickets in the front ten rows from a scalper for under $300 maybe even less (as long as PJ remained an arena act).

Met a dude at PJ20 and it was his 104th show; He said at least 75 were in the front three or four rows.

    That is nuts.

The seniority helps PJ sell more tickets because people with low 10c numbers go to way more shows because they know they will get amazing seats.

I am sorry if this sounds like a complaint, I just feel the need to remind Tim/10c every so often that there are people who have been in the club for a real long time that aren't exactly thrilled with their policy. (and I sympathize, I freely admit it would be a business mistake to change the policy, I can't think of a policy that would sell more tickets).

I skipped 10c for PJ20 and paid a broker (I was maybe row 20). I had several friends offer me big money ($2000+) for my tickets in the parking lot.... people in their mid to late twentys that have followed this band for a LONG time are ready for their night down front. :)

All good points. Maybe the "lottery" should be expanded. I had row d for nite 2 at pj20 but I switched with a friend four the rest of the night when TOD came out. She has been in ten club quite a while herself and never really been so I thought I'd put some good karma out there. Maybe before each concert we could start a "who wants to switch with a low number halfway through the show" thread and we could buddy up.

When I am actually able to purchase my 10club tickets, I am always happy with the seats. HOWEVER, the problem that I'm talking about is the fact that I am, more often then not, SHUT OUT of fan club tickets when the servers crash on the day of the presale... I cannot even tell you how many hours I have spent over the years on my computer pressing "F5" over and over and over and yet still getting shut out of my fan club seats. I frequently have to turn to ticketmaster for shitty seats after getting shut out of the fan club presale.

Not trying to complain, I love this band more than anything and I will buy seats on the roof if that's what it takes ;) Just venting I guess.

Which brings me back to the point of this thread... anyone wanna sell me a fan club pair for Hamilton at face value so I don't have to sit in my poopy ticketmaster seats??? :D:D:D

pj20 tix purchased via TM were better than my 10c seats. i was shocked but then sorta happy, then resigned to fact unless i hit lotto, i will be on outer fringe of any 10c seating assignment.

i go both ways on the expansion of lottery, and could argue both points to no avail.

    enjoy the canadian shows!!!
