who knows what would have become if Roger Waters hadn't been an ass and pushed him out after "The Wall"....

any reunion now would be pointless....it's a sad day.....
if hope could grow from dirt like me.....

    I am shocked. You can probably see from my Message Pit name that I am a huge Floyd fan. I have seen many concerts with Rick since 1973 and have been mesmerized by his keyboard playing. He was one of a kind. I think he was to keyboards what Gilmour is to guitar. He was a master technician with with his own great style and will be missed greatly.

    Summer '68 is one of the best (and most underrated) Pink Floyd songs there is. Wright was great.

    I just saw this on TV... Very sad news indeed. Listening to the Floyd won't be quite the same from now on.

    he always shaked when he played live and it didnt sound good, so the live shows he was at were recorded earlier, and he just lip/keyboarded synced his part
