He got us tickets to Elton John. We had nose bleeds. Ended up getting him 4 rows behind Elton. Was awesome.
We got to this starewell and my dads like "we can't go up there". Haha. Sure we can. He ended up having night of his life.
Just, not enough.
I need more.
Nothing seems to satisfy.
I said, I dont want it.
I just need it.
To breathe, to feel, to know Im alive.

Started out kinda meh. Ended up great. Hr is a master on those keys. Did a great job of covering the fact he had no band.

He's such a legend. I'd love to see Elton some day before he gets too old to perform.

How awesome!! Definitely going to be something you both remember for a long time! If you're both into music, father-daughter/son concert moments are really the best!!

My dad is a HUGE Who fan. He saw them twice in the '60s, once at the Fillmore East in NYC and once at Woodstock. The third time was in '08. He took me, 39 years after Woodstock, to see The Who at the Izod Center in Jersey for my 16th birthday. My dad introduced me to The Who when I was 2 and I totally caught on and have been a huge fan myself ever since. It was one of the best nights of my life, we both had an amazing time! He said he had never seen me so happy before and that it was a special night for him too! Moments like that are just amazing, thinking about that show always brings a smile to my face! I'm sure it's the same way with you & your dad's Elton John show!

that is badass. i like elton's tunes, that dude can play a god damn piano like nobody's business, man.

the rolling stones' steel wheels show in ames, iowa was pretty frickin slick courtesy of dad, as was ac/dc's razor's edge show in cedar rapids, iowa. dads kick some ass quite a bit.

The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
