  • Why ? Because Joe Paterno runs a class program . Amongst major colleges only Stanford and Penn State have had no major NCAA infractions , and Alabama had to vacate 21 victories and is on probation until 2012 .

The three time outs on the opening drive are unexcusable and completely the coaches fault. That said, the guy has earned the right to go out whenever the hell he wants. You should want him to stick around. They are definitely going out of house for a big time name. I wouldn't be suprised to see someone like Urban Meyer.

Getting the rivalary going again should be fun.

Since when is Alabama on probation until 2012??? The victories that they had to forfeit were in 1993...Roll Tide Roll

No doubt. Not even a close second at this point in time. Maybe Urban Cryer, but Saban made Urban quit the SEC, so I lost a little respect for Meyer. He wasn't tough enough to stick it out without Tebow.

I'd love to see Saban slap Kiffin around in Miami for the BCS title this coming season.
