While I'm looking forward to Alive, I'm just hoping this leads to upcoming Pearl Jam downloads.

Hopefully it means some Pearl Jam DLC's!!!
I shit and I stink. I'm real, join the club.

A friend, he called, I didn't mention a thing. The last thing he said was, "Be sound". Sound. I contemplated an awful thing, I hate to admit. I just thought those would be such appropriate last words. But I'm still here.

Is this confirmed or speculation? It would make sense. I've followed the Chinese Democracy drama somewhat closely and haven't heard of this song, so that's the only reason I am axin'.

I'm rather surprised at the inclusion of Nirvana's "Drain You"...am I the only one who thinks "Smells Like Teen Spirit" would be a blast on Rock Band? What's more, it's the band's signature song...I could even see "Come as You Are"...although "Drain You" is a good song.

My suggestions for a PJ download pack:
    "Rearviewmirror"
    "Corduroy"
    "Immortality"
"Who You Are" [would be interesting, that's for sure]
"Smile" [with added harmonica, of course]

I think Drain You is in their just for that middle part where it goes kinda silent and then they come thundering back with a vengeance. It might be the song I am most excited about playing with 3 other people.

I just hope they don't tamper with it like they did in GH 2 with "Heart-Shaped Box"...that pissed me off.

    31. Judas Priest “Painkiller” 1990’s

either they have optional double bass pedal or there will have to be some serious heal-toe action

AC/DC - Let There Be Rock is one of my favorite all-time songs - some serious vocals are gonna be needed to pull of Bon Scott
9/1/2000 - E-Centre, Camden, 'Sometimes' started and I was hooked...

    Good call on Corduroy.

Better Man would be fun since my friends who don't know there other stuf could have fun playing as well.

Even Given to Fly would be awesome to play on that game.

I usually play drums on Rock Band and I think that In My Tree would be a blast on drums.

I better stop before I make a list of almost every Pearl Jam song.

I even read in an article (and this topic was also on this forum) that it would either be "Alive" or "Black" which could mean that "Black" is an upcoming release via DLC. I figure if they got one PJ song, then more should follow. Either way, I'm stoked that "Alive" is in this game. We had such a blast playing the first RB and I can't wait to get this one. Even better, it's compatible with all the DLC from RB1 and, this is a video game first, you can import tracks from the first game (which is a total of 58 songs) into the new game. Not sure how they'll do that -- maybe a utility program that extracts the tracks from the game disc?
    Rock on!

Chinese Democracy has to be the longest running joke in the entertainment community by now. How many years ago did they first announce "CD" was getting ready for release...heck, even scheduling some tour dates that too never fully panned out. Give it up Axl...your 15 minutes are over so go find a real job pumping gas somewhere.

    peace,
