Looking forward to the boys' second visit to Saskatchewan. 6 years ago they covered The Guess Who song "Running Back to Sakatoon". Definitely one of the rarest tunes in the PJ catalogue. It wasn't too polished but we enjoyed hearing them try it. Hoping they're giving it another shot, 1 week left to practice. If they are I'll find them some homemade saskatoon pie to thank them.

  • I actually can't wait for this show. My brother and a couple cousins went in '05 and said it was fantastic, and nice to see PJ in a little bit smaller venue.

  • That was the most fun I've seen them have live. Ed kept saying he thought they were booked to play at a campfire.
  • The Saskatoon show in '05 was just smashing ... It was probably a combination of the band being on fire and my emotional state at the time. I remember actually getting the goosebump experience (doesn't happen for me often) during Present Tense, they played Off He Goes (I am that kind of friend unfortunately, no matter how hard I work on it), and Running Back to Saskatoon was a hell of a gesture. Eddie's constant references to how podunk and tiny Saskatoon is only added to the experience. This time is going to be a bit strange, largely because its going to be hard to live up to '05 in my mind.
