1993 Rolling Stone

My wife went to a huge tag sale this morning and found this mag with PJ on the cover, the one that was written by Cameron Crowe. She said it was sitting on top of a pile of RS's (what are the odds of that) so she grabbed it for me.
Inside Eddie was talking about MLB and Andy and said he really connected with 1 of the songs. He said he couldn't say which song, but he hoped to play it 1 day. I wonder which song. I can't imagine its Crown.

    That's awesome...good find!! I remember reading that article when I was younger over and over. I still have the magazine from the day I bought it. Good stuff! :thumbup:

    That's really awesome as well. Back then I was into like Circus mag and those types of mags, so I never read RS back then. Im glad she found it though.

    It is in fact Crown of Thorns. Why can't you imagine that?

    How do you know this? And after thinking about it Black is to Eddie, as COT is to Andy. So, I guess that's how Eddie can relate to that song. Maybe I was just hoping for them to perform another MLB song.

    Cant recall the source, but read it in an interview somewhere. They played it a lot on 2000 Binaural tour....and it was the first MLB song they played/covered. As of late, they played Stardog Champion at PJ20.

    once in 2000, vegas 10th anniversary show. 15 times total. I would think this is the song Eddie was talking about in 93.

    It is the song for sure...how do I know? Well, I was at the premiere of the movie yesterday...there may be something about this in there ;)

    It definitely IS crown of thorns. Look at one of the first days of the whole PJ20 release, where we get something new every day. One of the "gifts" we've received was Crowe talking about this exact quote
