How Do I Remain Signed In?

Everytime I try to post, whether its on my phone or a CPU, I am always prompted to Log In again, and from there it sets me to the main Forum page and I have to start from the beginning.

Is there a way to keep logged in forever, or at least a long period of time?

This would be true for each 'session'. Not necessarily every post.

I just never sign out.. :P Seems to work some/much of the time.

I forget to click on 'logout' and when I come back it says "you must be logged in to do that". So I just click on 'login' and it logs me back in automatically. You have to have cookies enabled to 'stay logged in', if I close my browser (which will clear my cookies) then I have to enter all my info back in-but it's good to clear out cookies every now and then...all that spyware shit and stuff.

I never press "log out" either. As a consequence :
I remain logged in until I exit the site or quit my browser. Then if I go to the site again, I'm either logged in or not, depending on how much time has passed since I was last logged in. Then again, when there's a lot of traffic on the site, I seem to be automatically logged off if I'm not "active" for a few minutes. Does this make sense at all ? :?
I used to be automatically logged in though, until a few months ago.
On the app (the official one), I appeared logged in until I tried to post, when I was told to log in after I pressed submit. :x On the unofficial one, if I can access my PMs I'm logged in, if I can't I'm logged out. Easy.
I barely ever have to enter my informations on the site though (as opposed to the apps), I just need to press the login button. I suppose that's a cookie thing.
Don't know if that helps, but you might want to : enable your cookies for this site and don't sign out upon quitting (only if you're home, eh ? Not from a public computer !).

Totally makes sense! I can log in on my phone and stay logged in, but if I closed my laptop browser, I have to enter info in again (i think) . I just know that I can be logged in on my phone and laptop at the same time...kinda trippy.I have an Android, so I don't know about the app, or how it works. I only know that the app won't let you check PMs, but I can check my PMs from the Droid.
