I just don't want this post getting lost- figured I would spam up the place.
I can't even begin to thank all the people that helped with the success of the greatest pre-party ever.
Together, we raised close to $11K!!!
I think there had to be close to 1,500 people that came throughout the night, if not more. The owner of the bar was so pleased with our crowd. I think they were preparing for some shit to hit the fan with our crew drinking all night, but we are a community of awesome people!!
Thank you all for your patience.
Thank you for embracing the heat and humidity (and yes, the A/C was on).
Thank you for donating money.
Thank you for donating items.
Thank you for checking out our numerous beneficiary tables.
Thank you for sticking it out with us til the end.
Thank you for choosing the shuttle and staying safe.
Thank you for your support.
Thank you for your respect.
Thank you for your time.
A huge thank you to Laura, the volunteers, the venue and their amazing staff.
A huge thank you to Matt and Chris for their unwaivering patience with me.
I am very saddened by the lack of time I had to give my thanks and appreciation to everyone that contributed to the success of this party. I wouldn't even know where to begin. I wanted to meet everyone, especially those that donated. And to those that I did meet, I wish I would have had time to say more than "Hi, I'm Jen. I'm going to hug you and I am sweaty. OK?"
It was an absolute delight to meet the Greek God himself and also Speedy, who had the kindest words for me.... it really meant a lot. Honest. Anyone that stopped to say hello and give thanks, it didn't go unnoticed. My heart was full of love and it was deeply felt and appreciated.
So, I guess what I am trying to say is THANK YOU a million times over and CHEERS!!!!
any thoughts/suggestions for next time?

Oh, and I should add... any left over items were either being put on ebay with the $$ going to our total or heading up to Canada to help with those pre-parties.0

Jen (and other volunteers)- Thank you for organizing such an amazing event. A pre-party of that size doesn't organize itself and I cannot imagine the amount of time and effort that you had to put in to pull it off
Everyone that I talked to had a great time and you raised a ton of cash for charity.0 -
