LOVE the throwback to punk!!! The song is great!0

Kinda reminds me of "Whipping" with a bit of "Hail, Hail" and "Got Some" thrown in for good measure. Maybe some "Brain of J" as well?0

What a fun tune... plus it has a sound like it comes from UNDONE - I love it!
Rock on Pearl Jam!!! THANKS for the new tune!
I love Mike's shredding, Jeff's bassline, Stone's grove and the backing vocals are sick!!!
Thank you for starting a thread here for appreciation and gratitude.
That's exactly what I thought when I heard the chorus.
I dig it - and classic Matt odd-time pattern in the bridge makes it even more tasty!Osaka, Japan (2/21/95), San Diego (7/10/98), Las Vegas (10/22/00), San Diego (10/25/00), Las Vegas (6/6/03), Las Vegas (7/6/06), Los Angeles (7/9/06), VH1 Rock Honors (7/12/08), Ed Solo (7/8/11), Ed Solo (11/1/12), Los Angeles (11/23/13)0 -
Me like, ole!
I love the way Ed sings the word in a variety of different ways. I can also imagine more/new lyrics being added when appropriate, Do The Evolution style.Like a cloud dropping rain

Great sound, great song
One thing I've come to know about PJ
It's always about the Rock-N-Ole'John and Shawna0 -
Love this tune. Couldn't figure out what it reminded me of until I listen to the Dublin '10 boot this morning...

Love the new song and love that Pearl Jam continues to try and reinvent itself. Thank you PJ for not listening to the morons who think every sogn and album should keep sounding like Ten...... Trying new sounds, experimenting and continually... evloving.... is how a band sticks around 20 years, stays semi-relevant and puts 30,000 people into an ampitheater to celebrate said 20 years. Staying stagnant and trying to recreate the same sound over and over again gets you playing at the side stage at the state fair like Quiot Riot...... Those who hate it, enjoy your next Quiot Riot show, those who loved it, kudos to you for having an open mind and for being excited that PJ continues to evolve which will help them stick around and allow them to continue to play those amazing sold out shows in arenas near you!
Please note this does not mean you "have" to like the song, if you don;t like just because you don;t like it, that is fine, but in different message boards TONS of the complaints are accompanied by something to the effect that "it doesn't sound like the old PJ" and that is where my statements are directed for clraification....

Absolutely love it. Think it's gonna be a grower for some. Took me a few listens to hear everything. But it rocks like a mutha, has killer changes and I love the lyrics. Gonna be amazing live, too.0

Come Back in Black wrote:i never said thank you so don't say your welcome. my dvr shit the bed as well so i went to fallons website and watched this first thing this morning. I considered everyone else wasn't a retard and did the same thing so didn't post it here.
Its like when someone posts the new pj20 link that is released every day here. Uh.. .no shit. Your not special because your the first to cut n paste. This is a pearl jam fan board. Its one thing if an article comes out of nowhere that is posted on the web in the middle of a down time for the band. Its great that you can find it here.
But come on... we are in the middle of pj20 there is a website that releases a new link every day. Do we really all have to race to be the first to post it here? we are all checking it. Everyone is checking Fallon's late night website. You are not welcome.
