I thought it was great that Cornell was there to help celebrate PJ20, and I don't even like him. The Mother Love Bone and Temple songs were fantastic, but why they played 2 of the same songs the next night is beyond me...everyone who was there, was there for both nights (or at least 95% of the people) and didn't need to see Reach Down or Hunger Strike twice...

All in all though, I won't complain. It was a fantastic pair of shows and the only song I didn't enjoy was the Public Image cover...again, just my personal opinion.

Damn right..stole 7 songs as far as I am concerned..there were NO duplicates except for Hunger..it is a shame that these two shows will ultimately have less PJ songs than any other 2 shows the rest of the tour.. still a great time but I guess when PJ kicks such ass they have standards that sometimes cannot be met..I am guilty of probably expecting too much..

Reach Down was also repeated.... and its a long song.

There were deuces in the urinals by 8pm on Saturday. hahahahaha They needed time to clean the place before noon the next day. It was closer to 10 than to 9:30 when they went on Saturday which was the problem.
I couldn't believe that... they have a "short" scheduled time as it was, and then they wound up walking on the stage at like 9:50... had they been on-time they probably get 3 more of those songs in.

The other thing that cracks me up was that Say Hello to Heaven wasn't even on there and Stardog Champion was in parenthesis and both got played instead of the songs that were cut/skipped.

Still an amazing show -- I liked the first night better than the second. Just painful to see what could have been if they had started on time and if the Chris Cornell show wasn't extended past what was on the setlist.

Yeah, saw that too. So how come we were all told by Tim Bierman the curfew wouldn't be a problem, also I've been to shows that went til 1:00am at AV and all of a sudden it's a big problem on Saturday and Sunday night? WTF :?:

Yeah, the late start was probably mainly to blame which was probably related to the rain. PJ, being the classy guys they are, probably didn;t want to short any of the other bands and let them play their sets and just shortened their own likely... I loved every minute of Chris Cornell, would have liked to have seen Pushing Forward back the second night instea dof Reach Down but I didn't have a porblem with how long he was on, I thought it was great!

If they would have pulled off that entire setlist (including TOTD, including Say Hello To Heaven)... I think it would have easily been one of the top shows of all time.

That's definitely not why- the Strokes were off like two minutes early. Either they just couldnt get setup as quickly as they thought they could or they were just late. Either way... everyone was exactly on schedule under the pavilion but them.

I would agree with this -- if they played that setlist as written... that has to be up there with any other show like Philly, MSG, etc.

Night 1 was absolutely amazing, but I would take Philly 3/4 or MSG II over it... had they played the songs that were cut it could've been right there with them.

I think curfew was 11:30 and 'drop dead time' was midnight. What I thought was weird was on Sunday two of the side stage acts (I WANT to say it was Joseph Arthur and whoever was right before him I think) both kept referencing the band playing past 1AM. When I heard the first one say it I thought it was just to get the crowd going, but when I heard it twice I thought they knew something we didn't. I didn't get my hopes up, but I thought that was odd nonetheless.

I was outside at the side stage day 2 and I guy came out and said, "The only thing Pearl jam didnt like about last nigth was that they didnt get to play long enough and the set time is moved from 930 to 9" They ended up going on at 915. So something happened that pulled the plug on them. Really really unfortunate. :(

Yeah - they were 15 minutes late both days, but I think that's on PJ and in no way on AV. The stage was ready and the staff was well setup by the scheduled times, but PJ just ran late.
