I'm still trying to figure out how to get to Vancouver from SF, I have 1 extra 10c seat at face... was wondering if there was any interest. I have to show up to split my tix obvi, otherwise i'll just count the whole thing as a loss since getting to and staying in vancouver will be really expensive. PM me if you are interested in my extra.

    check out westjet, they're having a seat sale. stay at a hostel, or maybe the person who wants to split your tickets will let you crash with them. sf>van is one of the cheapest routes, just do it!

    west jet only does one direct flight a day, the other flights are so freaking wacky i don't know why they even list them. for a few extra bucks i can expand my time in vancouver much longer on air canada..

    how is the public transit system? or am i better off renting a car?

    no need for a car. the canada line skytrain goes straight downtown from the airport, the coliseum is a busride or a skytrain/busride away from wherever you stay.

    sfo->yvr = 135 (air canada sale)
    yvr->sfo = 99 (west jet sale)

    i totally considered it since i have a lot of virgin america points, but the extra 3 hours of driving makes it not worth it. real no savings flying to sea vs yvr from sfo.
