there I was
waiting for a fire
waiting for the fire you bring
every fucking time I see you

you come and go and each time
i tirelessly await your return
to bring back the fire
your amazing blazing fire
your light for the darkness
that last you left

the vacuum left behind in your wake
the void
the nothing-without-you ache

you came back and true your fire
so damn on
the embers still burn in my heart
hot, hot reds and red hot whites
PJ20 forever all
fierce and intense
hot rocking nights
fuck 'em if they can't take a joke
