I'm liking 'Setting Forth' with the full band. That was a nice surprise at PJ20.

Yeah it is! My friend's in the 11th row calling me to give me a taste. Sounds like the crowd were digging Given to Fly. Elderly Woman, Hail Hail etc... those songs never get old. Some rare songs are rare for a reason.

Great setlist, but at least at this point in the show I'm not totally regretting Alpine over Montreal. Now if they break out Mother and play All Those Yesterdays that may change.

small town as an opener would be sweet

not really, it eliminates the chance to hear long road, oceans, of the girl, etc.
Na I would love that singalong to start the show

I've been to a show where small town was the opener, it's a good song, but I would prefer it in the set, not as an opener. Still a good start though, I will give it that. To each their own

I guess what we're all saying is, Mike McCready is kind of a big deal.

It's a weird opener, no doubt. The kind of opener the boys throw at us just to fuck with us. Remember that tour where the eventually opened with just about everything -- Alive, Even Flow, Crazy Mary, RVM?
