Hi. I was lucky enough to acquire a PJ20 Ames poster that's apparently a very rare variant, and of which only 20 were made. It's the main Sept. 3 show poster, but is printed in lighter colors (Pearl Jam Twentieth Anniversary is in purple, not black, and other colors are lighter as well). Please send your trade list if interested. Looking for PJ posters, vinyl, rarities, etc. Also feel free to post clarification about the rarity of the variant if you know more about it than I do. Thanks.

  • I am also interested in hearing from someone who knows the deal is with the "variant" thing. My night 2 Klausen is in different colors and the guy at the merch booth said there were only 10.

  • They randomly inserted variants into all three posters.

I was in line in front of an awesome couple from Detroit that scored a variant Hampton. Pink/purple in place of the reds. Looked sharp!

That was me! I would appreciate any info anyone has on this Hampton variant too. I Saw in another set of posts that Hampton personally called it a variant of his GID variant. Anyone know how many are out there? Thanks in advance.

Maybe they will be for sale soon!!! I measured mine to be 36X18, wish BK had his dimensions up to make sure I am spot on, would hate to order a $175 frame for nothing....

There were 20 variants s/n and also 20 variants unsigned.

Whoever has one, PM me with what you are looking to trade for...

Is that for all 3 posters? Or just the Klausen?

Doh! I just realized the OP was asking about Night 1. I was referring to the Klausen.

I got one of the Hampton variants too and went straight to the source, the artist. Here is Justin Hampton's response from earlier today

Justin: Was wondering if there were any other variants made of your PJ20 poster that were sold at the general merch tents? Ours is pink but doesn't glow in the dark nor was signed and numbered by you. Thanks for the great memory from the show.

Justin Hampton The ones that have the pink color were the super rare variants that PJ randomly threw in the main edition stacks at the merch booth at PJ20. I'm not sure how many were made but less than my edition of 200. So there were the red ink main edition, the pink randomly thrown in edition and my pink/ glow in the dark edition of 200. Hope that makes sense.
