Don't think there will be a better review than this

..here's the end
"As quickly as these past 20 years have gone by, the show was over and the trails of taillights made their way back home. While many of the fans from the early years are nearing middle age and the rest aren’t far behind, the success of Pearl Jam proves that grunge is more than the passing trend it was laughed off to be. Generation X has grown up, and like a fine wine, they have only gotten better with time.
Echoed throughout each of the two nights was the theme that this was a weekend of celebration, camaraderie and to put it plainly, love. It was a great set of shows for a group of friends that has become one of the greatest rock bands of all time."

Yea, from reading the threads here and trying to weed out the bickering, name-calling and petty issues
that it seems some, not all, people had, I would say that if you couldn't feel the vibe and love that
the band was trying to convey, then you only have yourselves to blame.
I think people tend to overlook that these guys have been together for over 20 years, never mind the years
prior that they all put in to the business leading up to what most fans have come to know and love.
Fucking hell, 20 years is longer than most marriages.
Peace, love, passion, friendship. The words that could be used to describe what the band has stood
for and tried to impart on their fans is endless.
They have been preaching their message through their music, lyrics and actions, both off and on the stage
for so long that perhaps some people take it for granted.
one question I consistently go back to is what would your life be like, musically speaking, if there was no Pearl Jam.
Keep on rocking in the free world boys because you never know how long that freedom lasts.
This reviewer must not hang out on the forums much.
In all seriousness, great review. And you're right, the last few paragraphs aptly capture what PJ20 was.
for the least they could possibly do
Will they be around to play a 30 year show or a 40 year show? Will I even be able to attend such a celebration again?

Instead of Hungerstrike and Say Hello 2 Heaven, I wanted Bugs and Sweet Lew!
